RASC News Agency: The Deputy Prime Minister of the Taliban has declared that discrimination and intolerance in Afghanistan have come to an end, asserting that no individual will be allowed to incite division or prejudice. These statements come amid serious allegations against the Taliban for perpetuating ethnic, linguistic, and religious discrimination throughout the country, as well as accusations of committing massacres and genocide while targeting opponents based on tribal affiliations, particularly in Panjshir.
In conjunction with remarks made by Iran’s Special Envoy regarding the Taliban’s ethnically and religiously homogeneous governance, Mullah Abdul Kabir stated during a meeting with residents of Panjshir that an Islamic system has been firmly established in the country, asserting that Afghanistan now possesses a robust and independent Islamic regime. The Deputy Prime Minister further emphasized that the Taliban will never permit discrimination or intolerance and has initiated developmental projects aimed at promoting balanced progress.
These declarations come as the Taliban has deployed nearly 20,000 forces to Panjshir, forcibly seizing numerous civilian homes and schools. Reports indicate that Taliban militants have established military posts in over 200 villages across Panjshir, subjecting residents to hardship and depriving them of their freedoms. The group has repeatedly committed extrajudicial killings and detained thousands of young men from Panjshir under various pretexts, many of whom remain imprisoned.
Some young residents of Panjshir have conveyed to RASC that Mullah Abdul Kabir is disseminating falsehoods from their occupied territories, labeling these claims as a misleading narrative.
