RASC News Agency:The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan (NRF) has announced responsibility for a recent operation targeting Taliban forces in Kapisa province. According to a statement released by the NRF, the operation was conducted at approximately 1:00 AM on Monday, July 29, against a Taliban stronghold in the village of Kalalan, Ishtragram, within the Hesa Awal Kohistan district of Kapisa province.
The NRF reported that the operation resulted in the death of one Taliban member, identified as Mullah Qasim, and injuries to two others. The statement emphasized that NRF forces sustained no casualties during the engagement. As of this time, local Taliban officials in Kapisa have not issued a response to the NRF’s claims.
It is notable that there has been a significant escalation in the frequency and intensity of attacks by opposition groups against Taliban forces across various provinces, particularly in the northern regions of Afghanistan. In a recent incident, the NRF claimed to have killed two Taliban members in the Qala Sahra area of Jabul Saraj district in Parwan province.
