RASC: People’s sources in Aqcha district of Jawzjan province say that in two separate incidents in this city, the hanged body of a man has been found and another man was poisoned.

Sources told RASC that at around 11:30 AM yesterday, Thursday, May 18, they found the hanged body of a 58-year-old man in the Mehr Abad pass of Aqcha city in Jawzjan province. This man’s name was Abdullah and he was the main resident of Aqcha city. Sources still claim that he murdered in a mysterious way.

The security officials of the Taliban in Jawzjan, confirming this incident, say that the cause and motive of this man’s murder has not been clarified so far. Meanwhile, sources say that in another incident, unknown persons in the city poisoned a man.

In recent days, the number of suicides and mysterious murders in the northern and central provinces of the country have increased sharply, and public sources have attributed the increase in these events to poverty, unemployment, and targeted killings by the Taliban group.
