RASC News Agency: Reliable sources have informed RASC that Mojani, who was expelled by the Taliban, was not an Iranian diplomat but a researcher. Previously, the Taliban claimed that Ali Mojani, a senior diplomat and representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran, was being expelled from Afghanistan. However, credible sources have revealed to RASC that Mojani is a researcher and writer, not a diplomat or representative, exposing the Taliban’s falsehoods.
These sources indicate that Mojani is affiliated with Iran’s reformist movement and is also an employee of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. According to the sources, Mojani came to Afghanistan for research purposes. He aimed to gather various information related to his research work. During his stay, he visited Kandahar, Kabul, and several other provinces, conducting his research and uncovering discrepancies in the reports sent to the Iranian government by the Iranian ambassador and other embassy staff in Afghanistan.
The sources state that Iranian Ambassador to Afghanistan Qomi, along with embassy staff Mortezavi and others, had been sending reports to the Iranian government claiming complete security, freedom, and mutual acceptance in Afghanistan. However, Mojani’s research revealed that these reports were false and that the reality was quite the opposite.
Mojani, who had no prior official role in Mazar, Kabul, or Kandahar, was merely a researcher. During his travels, he discovered the inhumane practices of the Taliban, including terrorism, ethnic conflicts, and the absence of freedom and security. He compiled a report that contradicted Qomi’s reports and sent it to Iran.
