RASC News Agency: Sources have informed the media that unidentified gunmen unleashed a barrage of bullets, resulting in the deaths of three individuals in Farah province.

Local sources report that the incident occurred late Thursday night, April 4th, at 10:00 PM, while worshippers were engaged in evening prayers at a local mosque in the village of Gotwali, within the Pashtkoh district of Farah province.

In this shooting, Mohammad Akbar Rofayee, a local resident, lost his life, while two others sustained injuries. The condition of the wounded individuals has been described as critical by their relatives.

Sources added that the gunmen fled the scene following the shooting. The motive behind this incident remains unclear. Local authorities have not yet commented on the matter, and the Taliban group has not addressed it either. Previously, in separate incidents yesterday, a youth was also killed in the provinces of Kandahar and Nangarhar.

With the mounting toll of mysterious killings in the country, concerns about the deteriorating security situation escalate, despite claims by the Taliban that security is ensured nationwide.
