The Afghanistan Institute for Strategic Studies awards this prize to recognize Ibn Sina’s invaluable contributions in science and philosophy and his role as a pioneer of intercultural dialogue and cooperation.

This award symbolizes the fundamental and historical values of peace, coexistence, and mutual respect among communities. In a statement regarding the fifth award ceremony, the Afghanistan Institute for Strategic Studies noted, “In a world beset by conflicts, violence, and a lack of mutual understanding, peace and intercultural dialogue are of vital importance.”
