RASC News Agency: The Afghanistan Freedom Front claims that an operative attack by its forces on a Taliban convoy in Kabul has resulted in the deaths of three Taliban members. According to a statement released Wednesday night, May 29th, by the Freedom Front on the X platform, the attack occurred between the Baraki and Traffic intersections in Kabul.
The Freedom Front asserts that five Taliban members were also injured in the attack, though it did not disclose whether any Freedom Front forces were harmed. The statement mentions that the targeted convoy belonged to the Taliban’s Ministry of Interior and was heading towards the “Bagh Bala” area of Kabul.
The Taliban have not yet commented on the attack, though earlier, residents of Kabul reported hearing an explosion at the scene. Notably, on the night of Tuesday, May 28th, the Freedom Front also announced the killing of a Taliban leader named Fazluddin Osmani in the Karte Naw area of Kabul’s 8th security district.
