RASC News Agency: Local Taliban authorities in Ghazni and Panjshir provinces have reported that two traffic incidents in these regions have led to the deaths of three individuals and injuries to four others. Khaled Sarhadi, the spokesperson for the Taliban command in Ghazni, informed the media that one incident involved a collision between a “Fielder” vehicle and a tanker, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and the injury of three others.

He stated that this incident occurred around 9:00 a.m. local time on Monday, May 12th, near “Kotal Rouza” in central Ghazni and along the Kabul-Kandahar highway. Sarhadi further mentioned that reckless driving caused this incident and emphasized that the injured individuals have been transferred to the regional hospital in Ghazni for treatment.

In the meantime, the Taliban command in Panjshir province confirmed that one child lost their life, and another person was injured due to a speeding vehicle veering off the road. This incident took place yesterday, May 12th, on the outskirts of the Khinj district in Panjshir province. However, this Taliban authority has not provided additional clarification regarding this traffic incident.

Factors such as careless driving, road defects, drivers’ non-compliance with traffic laws, excessive speed, and obstruction of certain routes are cited as the primary reasons for traffic incidents.
