Traffic Accident in Baghlan Claims a Child’s Life

RASC News Agency: Local Taliban authorities in Baghlan province reported that a child died in a traffic accident in the province, and three others, including a woman, were injured. According to a statement released by Shir Ahmad Burhani, a spokesperson for the Taliban’s police command in Baghlan province, the incident occurred around 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 6.

 

Burhani stated that the accident was the result of a collision between a Passo car and a motorcycle in the area of the Sugar Factory in central Baghlan district. Previous traffic accidents in various provinces have resulted in deaths, injuries, and disabilities due to different causes.

 

In a previous incident, a traffic accident in the city of Maimana, the capital of Faryab province, resulted in the deaths of four people. The cause of the accident was attributed to driver negligence.
