RASC News Agency: The Supreme Court of the Taliban group has announced the punishment of six individuals on charges of “deception” in Khost province. According to a statement released by the Supreme Court of the Taliban group on Monday, Apr 1, the court had sentenced these individuals to 39 lashes.

Following their assumption of control over the country, the Taliban group has publicly punished citizens in various provinces on various charges. This action by the Taliban group has garnered widespread domestic and international criticism. Despite these pressures, the group persists in carrying out public punishments against the accused.

Hebatullah, the purported leader of the Taliban group, reiterated in his latest remarks the emphasis on what he calls “the application of Shariah boundaries,” adding that the group once again stones women and administers lashes.
