RASC News Agency: Local Taliban officials in Nimruz province report that the body of a young man was discovered in a well in the Khahrod district. On Tuesday, April 23, officials from the Taliban’s Directorate of Information and Culture in Nimruz told the media that the young man had been killed and then his body was thrown into a well.

The body was reportedly found yesterday in a well in the village of Khashrod district. The Taliban’s Directorate of Information and Culture in Nimruz stated, without revealing the identity of the deceased, that his body had been returned to his family. The motive and perpetrators of the murder remain unknown.

Local Taliban officials in Nimruz have stated that the group’s police are working to identify those responsible for the killing. Mysterious killings have increased since the Taliban regained control of Afghanistan. Reports of killings from the provinces are received on a daily basis.
