RASC: Local sources in Takhar province say that people affiliated with the Taliban group and residents of Khaja Bahauddin city of Takhar province have been involved again.

This conflict took place on Thursday, May 18, in Mughal village, when the Taliban wanted to distribute the grasslands belonging to the local residents to the Kochi People and their packers.

According to the sources, local residents rose up against the Taliban group with shovels and pickaxes and prevented the distribution of their lands to Taliban group and their members in this province.

Sources claim that the officials of the Taliban group in Kabul have issued an order to distribute 1,000 acres of pastureland to the Kochi people in this city.

Last year, the Taliban forced the homes of at least 400 Uzbeks and Tajiks from Mughal Qashlaq village and distributed their houses to Kochi people.

Based on published reports, displaced families are still homeless.
