RASC News Agency: Local Taliban officials from Laghman province have reported that two people died and three others were injured due to flooding in the province.

Abdulnoor Rasooli, head of information and culture for the Taliban in Laghman, told the media on Saturday, April 20th, that the flooding affected five districts in the province, including Mehtarlam, the provincial capital, resulting in the loss of 22 livestock.

According to Rasooli, the flooding also destroyed 110 acres of agricultural land and damaged nearly 173 homes.

Recently, heavy rainfall across most of the country has led to flash floods, causing financial damage and loss of life.

In a previous incident, Taliban officials from Bamyan province reported that three members of a family died due to the collapse of a house roof in the provincial capital.
