RASC News Agency: Local sources from Samangan province have reported a recent incident of a young man being murdered, continuing the trend of mysterious and targeted killings in the region. Sources informed the media on Wednesday, April 17th, that the incident took place the previous night in the village of “Dareh Zendan,” situated near the city of Aybak.

According to the sources, the victim, Nasir Ahmad, was fatally stabbed. They also mentioned that Nasir Ahmad worked as a “freelancer.” The occurrence of this incident has been confirmed by the Taliban’s security command in Samangan province. The identity of the perpetrator and the motive behind the killing of the young man remain unclear.

Since the Taliban seized control of the country, there has been a notable increase in the rate of mysterious and targeted killings across various provinces. Reports suggest that two cases of mysterious killings occurred in the central city of Aybak, Samangan province, earlier this week.
