RASC News Agency: The Green Trend, led by Amrullah Saleh, the former Vice President, has announced that 58 senior members of Taliban intelligence and nearly six thousand members of this agency have been identified and documented by this movement.
According to Mr. Saleh, all of these 58 individuals have received training in Pakistan. In a Twitter message, the former Vice President of the previous government wrote: “These 58 members of Taliban intelligence leadership have all previously been in Pakistan, where most of them received training.”
Mr. Saleh added that among the Taliban intelligence members identified by the Green Trend, there are individuals who, over the past two decades, have designed and executed some of the bloodiest terrorist attacks in major Afghanistan cities, particularly Kabul, with the assistance of the “Pakistan Military Intelligence.”
Saleh wrote that although this agency strives to employ cover and aliases to protect its methods and resources, it remains profoundly vulnerable due to corruption, external infiltration, and deep-rooted nepotism. He stated that the Pakistani intelligence agency, ISI, maintains deep infiltration and mastery over the operational branch of Taliban intelligence.
In his message, Saleh mentioned an individual named Jawad Tajmir, who spent 20 years owning bomb-making laboratories and workshops in the mountains of Pakistan and is currently appointed as the Deputy Operations Director of Taliban intelligence agency. Saleh added that Tajmir leads his independent section within the Taliban’s Directorate of Security.
In another part of Mr. Saleh’s message, it is stated that ISIS Khorasan has also infiltrated among the ranks and officials of Taliban Directorate of Security, and corrupt elements of this agency have been hired by this terrorist group to facilitate the transfer of personnel and materials for operations inside and outside Afghanistan.
Mr. Saleh further added that the Taliban group does not allow the increasing crimes in major cities to be covered by the media, as it becomes apparent that most of the abductions are carried out by individuals from this group, especially its intelligence.
