RASC News Agency: The Taliban intelligence outlet “Al-Marsad” has initiated discussions on recent tensions and Pakistan’s airstrikes on the provinces of Paktika and Khost in Afghanistan. According to Aamaj News on Monday, Mar 25, the Taliban media stated, “In recent days, while Pakistan has failed to prevent attacks within its borders, its military, supporters, propaganda machinery, and media preachers have become active again on social networks.”
The Taliban intelligence media denounced the bombings in Paktika and Khost, citing them as violations of Islamic and legal norms. They also highlighted tweets by Jan Achakzai as examples of Pakistani regime officials consistently amusing the world and regional residents with their inappropriate actions. Al-Marsad further criticized Jan Achakzai, the information minister of Balochistan, for frequently displaying a “great deal of insolence” and making “foolish” and “childish” statements regarding the capture of Wakan.
The media reported that Khawaja Asif, the Pakistani Defense Minister, referred to the trade route, labeling it “very funny” and “foolish.” Al-Marsad directly addressed the Pakistani Defense Minister, stating, “If you intend to halt Indian aid or trade with us, it will benefit us as we will increase our trade and exchanges through the Chabahar port.”
The media continued, “The second point is, if you are so powerful and mighty, why do you want to block only the Indian route? Have the courage to announce that Pakistan is severing all comprehensive trade relations with Afghanistan. However, everyone knows you will never do this because you understand it would cause more damage.”
The Taliban intelligence media addressed Khawaja Asif, asserting, “If we are weak, then you are not as powerful and strong as you claim in Pakistan’s analysis. Therefore, reflect first, assess, and then engage in discussion.” The Pakistani Defense Minister recently threatened to close trade routes from Pakistan to Afghanistan if the Afghanistani Taliban did not prevent attacks by the Pakistani Taliban “TTP.”
He stated, “If Afghanistan behaves towards us as an enemy, why should we provide it access to a trade corridor?”
