Forces of the National Resistance Front launched an assault on a Taliban stronghold in Takhar province

RASC News Agency: According to local sources from Takhar province, the forces of the National Resistance Front recently launched an attack on a Taliban base in the Farukhār district of the province. Sources informed the media on Saturday, Mar 9, that this attack took place last night on a Taliban outpost in the village of Chaman Khasdeh, Farkhar district of the province.

The skirmish began around 11:30 PM, according to the sources, and lasted for 15 minutes, during which four Taliban members were wounded and transferred to the hospital in Farkhar district. Both the Taliban group and the National Resistance Front have not yet commented on the matter. Previously, forces of the National Resistance Front have attacked Taliban positions in various provinces across the country, especially in Takhar.

In the latest incident, the National Resistance Front announced that they had attacked a Taliban ranger in the center of Takhar province, resulting in the death of three Taliban members and the injury of four others.
