RASC News Agency: The National Resistance Front proclaimed on March 8th, International Women’s Day, that the world must formally acknowledge the “Gender Apartheid” enforced in Afghanistan under Taliban rule as a crime against humanity. Ali Masih Nazari, the head of foreign relations for the National Resistance Front, penned a message on the social media platform X, on Friday, Mar 8, highlighting that Afghanistani women are completely marginalized from society on this day, and “Gender Apartheid” is overtly enforced.

According to the National Resistance Front, “While March 8th is commemorated globally, half of society remains deprived of all civil and political rights.” Continuing their discourse, the anti-Taliban front declared, “For the past two and a half years, a misogynistic, anti-civilization, and anti-human group has violated the basic, Islamic, and human rights of women in the country, depriving them of the right to education, work, and other fundamental rights.”

As stated by the National Resistance Front, “Ignoring the atrocities committed by a criminal and terrorist group against the people of Afghanistan, especially women, is deemed yet another crime.” The National Resistance Front, led by Ahmad Massoud, emphasized in their message their solidarity with the oppressed, courageous, and resilient women of Afghanistan.

Yesterday, Mar 8, aligned with International Women’s Day, a global celebration, yet in Afghanistan, this day arrives while the Taliban continues to deprive women of their most fundamental rights.
