RASC News Agency: The Taliban’s Ministry of Interior has announced that their forces have detained four individuals labeled as “exit prohibited” from Kabul Airport. According to a communique released on Feb 1, by the Taliban’s Ministry of Interior, their forces apprehended four individuals designated as prohibited from leaving the country at Kabul Airport as they attempted to depart.
The ministry’s statement also disclosed that two other individuals were apprehended by the Taliban’s border forces due to the possession of forged documents. Based on the ministry’s bulletin, the Taliban’s forces have detained dozens of individuals at airports and border crossings for possessing forged documents and being prohibited from exiting.
This occurs as the Taliban group, upon seizing control of the country, has imposed significant restrictions on the lives of citizens, prompting many to seek refuge outside Afghanistan. Furthermore, following the Taliban’s takeover, the economic and human rights situation in Afghanistan under their rule has deteriorated significantly, leading to a surge in attempts to flee the country.
During their two-year reign, the Taliban have arbitrarily detained, imprisoned, tortured, and in some cases, even killed individuals, particularly former military personnel and non-Pashtuns, under various pretexts. According to various international entities and authorities, the Taliban have failed to fulfill their commitments regarding the protection of human rights and have been repeatedly accused of widespread human rights abuses in Afghanistan.
