RASC News Agency: Following the escalating traffic incidents in various provinces across the country, a recent traffic mishap in Badakhshan Province has led to one fatality and four injuries. As per the spokesperson for the Taliban’s security command in Badakhshan, the incident took place on Saturday afternoon, February 10, in Kotal Zahrak, Darayim district of Badakhshan Province, as detailed in a press release.

Taliban officials reported that a Toyota Corolla traveling from Safa city, the hub of Darayim district, to Zahrak village, veered off the road and plummeted into a ravine at Kotal Zahrak during the incident. According to the spokesperson’s press release, three individuals sustained severe injuries in the mishap and are currently in a coma.

It is worth noting that factors such as road damage, absence of traffic signs on certain routes, reckless driving habits, speeding, and disregard for traffic regulations are contributing factors to the prevalence of traffic incidents.
