RASC News Agency: General Abdul Malik, leader of the Freedom Party and one of the prominent figures in the Turkic-Afghanistan community, responded to the announcement of the “Afghanistan Federalists Assembly” by stating: “Opponents of the federal system are perpetrators of injustice towards marginalized communities, individuals driven by power-seeking motives aiming to profit from murder, oppression, and massacre.”
Mr. Malik conveyed these remarks on Sunday, Feb 4, through a post on the social media platform X. General Malik emphasized that the establishment of the “Federalists Assembly” signifies a “positive progression,” asserting that the federal framework will bring an end to internal conflicts and forestall the country’s fragmentation. The leader of the Freedom Party of Afghanistan underscored that “the federal system serves not only the interests of individuals but also those of all ethnic groups residing in Afghanistan.”
General Malik further elaborated that once people exercise their right to vote and become masters of their own fate, concerns diminish; they can thwart the infiltration of “malevolent” elements, ensuring that in the federal setup, “no individual monopolizes power or authority.” The “Afghanistan Federalists Assembly” declared its presence on Saturday, with the participation of several politicians and former Afghanistan parliament representatives.
During their more than two-year rule, the Taliban group imposed a tyrannical regime in Afghanistan, disregarding human rights and democracy.
