RASC News Agency: The province of Faryab has once again become the backdrop for a mysterious and calculated killing, as per sources. This time, the victim was a military member of the Taliban group, Mohammad Yaqub, known as Toofan, who was targeted and killed in the village of “Kamozai” in the Khawaja Sabz Posh district on Wednesday, November 29th. Unknown assailants carried out the murder, prompting family members of the deceased to file complaints with the Taliban group, accusing four villagers.

The motive behind this murder remains obscured, and the perpetrators have skillfully eluded capture. Local officials affiliated with the Taliban group in Faryab province have launched an investigation into the incident. It is noteworthy that this news surfaces following reports of two other killings in the province involving the deaths of two young individuals, incidents also brought to the media’s attention.

The unsettling surge in targeted and enigmatic killings across various provinces of the country has reached unprecedented levels, leaving authorities perplexed about the motives behind these acts. In numerous cases, the culprits have managed to evade capture, exacerbating the complexity of the situation. Despite the Taliban group’s assertions of ensuring security throughout Afghanistan, these reports indicate a failure on their part to fulfill their promises. The situation necessitates a comprehensive evaluation of existing security measures and a concerted effort to bring the perpetrators to justice.
