RASC News Agency:The deputy commander of the border guards in Sistan and Baluchestan province has reported a development in the form of apprehending and expelling 11,669 unauthorized individuals at the shared borders of Iran and Afghanistan. Colonel Javad Rafii, as relayed by the Tasnim News Agency, detailed the efforts undertaken by the border guards in Sistan and Baluchestan province. In the preceding week, they executed the expulsion of a substantial number, precisely 11,669 foreign nationals originating from Afghanistan. Following the completion of legal procedures, these individuals were deported through the Milak border terminal, culminating in their repatriation to their home country.
The deputy commander of the border guards in Sistan and Baluchestan province underscored the importance for foreign nationals to adhere strictly to legal entry, residence, and exit points within the host country. With a stern warning against non-compliance, he elucidated that those failing to adhere to these protocols would face consequential measures. Upon their handover to the relevant authorities, the inevitable outcome for these individuals is expulsion from the country.
Earlier reports illuminated another episode involving the expulsion of 13,852 individuals from Afghanistan within a brief span, orchestrated by border guards at the Dogharun border in Khorasan Razavi province. Major General Majid Shuja, during an interview with IRNA, shed light on the multifaceted approach adopted in addressing the issue of illegal foreign nationals’ presence. This involved delivering the substantial number of unauthorized individuals to Afghanistan’s representative at the zero point of the border through the Dogharun border.
The prevailing trend of the forced expulsion of Afghanistani migrants from neighboring countries, particularly Pakistan and Iran, has witnessed a recent surge. According to the authorities in these nations, there are no discernible indications that this trend is subsiding. The continuous enforcement of expulsion measures reflects the persistent stance taken by these countries regarding the issue of unauthorized presence.
