RASC News Agency: Reports have surfaced of a troubling pattern of mysterious killings unfolding in diverse provinces across the nation. On December 21st, local sources in Khost province revealed the killing of a 10th-grade student by unidentified armed individuals within the province. According to these sources, in the Tani district, unidentified armed individuals took the life of Ajmal, a 17-year-old student actively pursuing his education. The exact motives and circumstances surrounding his murder remain uncertain. Notably, the Taliban group in Khost province has refrained from commenting on this incident.

The escalation of criminal activities, particularly the surge in enigmatic and targeted killings, is causing apprehension in various provinces nationwide. In the latest incident on Thursday morning, December 21st, unidentified gunmen claimed the life of 24-year-old Yar Gul in Nimroz province. These occurrences underscore the alarming spike in violent crimes, raising doubts about the Taliban group’s ability to ensure the safety and security of the population. Despite their assertions of providing national security, reports suggest the group has fallen short of fulfilling this critical responsibility.

It is imperative that authorities conduct thorough investigations into these cases and ensure the perpetrators face justice. The safety and well-being of citizens must be the top priority, with measures taken to address the escalating violence. The community is grieving the loss of young lives and demanding answers regarding the motives behind these killings. The government and security forces must work diligently to restore peace and stability, ensuring that such incidents do not recur in the future.
