RASC News Agency: In the ongoing sequence of enigmatic and targeted assassinations spanning diverse provinces, recent revelations from Parwan province unveil the demise of a 30-year-old man. This incident transpired on December 22nd in Chalmai village, situated within the Shinwari district of the Ghorband Valley. The victim, Rohullah, met a fatal end through gunfire from a rifle. The alleged perpetrator managed to elude the vicinity, leaving the motive shrouded in uncertainty. Officials affiliated with the Taliban group in Parwan province have affirmed the veracity of this incident.

This development emerges amidst a surge in criminal activities, notably marked by mysterious targeted killings and armed robberies, permeating various provinces. In a recent episode, sources from Herat province have likewise attested to the fatal shooting of a 28-year-old individual within the province’s environs. The majority of these cases witness the perpetrators eluding prosecution. Speculation among the populace posits that members of the Taliban group in diverse provinces orchestrate these killings and robberies, cloaking their actions under the guise of unidentified armed individuals.

Contrary to the Taliban group’s proclamations of ensuring comprehensive security in the country post-assumption of control, recent reports countermand their assertions. The escalating tally of criminal activities casts doubt upon the group’s efficacy in upholding law and order. The murder of Rohullah in Parwan province and the subsequent escape of the alleged assailant underscore the imperative for a meticulous investigation and expeditious dispensation of justice to reinstate confidence in the country’s security apparatus.
