RASC News Agency: Recent reports from American media unveil the apprehension of a youthful Afghanistani individual within the United States, facing charges linked to his purported endeavor to align with ISIS. The NBC News report, disseminated on Thursday, December 21st, elucidates the arrest of an 18-year-old on grounds of purportedly furnishing information and financial backing to the extremist group.

Per media accounts, the denizen of Denver, Colorado, found himself in custody during an attempted journey to the Middle East. An FBI agent, divulging this intelligence, identifies the detained individual as Hamza Mashkoor, an American citizen. The agent further expounds that Mashkoor, having invested a considerable duration in his familial homeland in Afghanistan, harbored intentions to affiliate with ISIS in the Middle East. On Monday, December 18th, Mashkoor was intercepted at Denver International Airport while boarding a flight bound for the United Arab Emirates, under the pretext of traveling to Afghanistan to visit his brother.

It merits attention that antecedent to this incident, media had already brought to light instances of Afghanistani youths striving to join ISIS in diverse countries. The global community remains profoundly perturbed by the machinations of ISIS, a notorious terrorist organization that menaces nations universally.

Furthermore, the presence of the ISIS extremist faction persists in Afghanistan, with a considerable contingent ensconced within the nation. This state of affairs elicits apprehension among Afghanistan’s populace and neighboring nations alike.
