RASC News Agency: Amidst the persisting sequence of traffic incidents spanning diverse provinces of the nation, local authorities in Nangarhar have brought attention to two recent traffic-related events in the province. Abdul Basir Zabuli, acting as the spokesperson for the Taliban’s security command in Nangarhar, officially conveyed on Saturday, December 9th, that the initial incident occurred the previous day in the Samarkhel area of the Behsud district within this province. According to details provided by Mr. Zabuli, the outcome of the first traffic incident was marked by the loss of two lives, accompanied by severe injuries sustained by another individual.

Furthermore, Zabuli appended that the second incident transpired in the eighth district of the Jalalabad city center in Nangarhar province, culminating in a fatality. According to the gathered information, a nine-year-old child, riding a motorcycle with his father, met with an accident, leading to the loss of his life. This unfolding scenario aligns with the consistent flow of daily reports on traffic incidents across various provinces of the country, accentuating that these occurrences have resulted in casualties.

In the latest case, according to reports from last Thursday, three individuals lost their lives, and seven others sustained injuries in a traffic incident in the Nimroz province. Experts attribute these incidents to factors such as road degradation, excessive speeding, driver recklessness, the absence of adequate traffic signs on certain roads, and a deficiency in driver education. The multifaceted nature of these challenges underscores the pressing need for comprehensive measures to address and mitigate the complex dynamics contributing to traffic incidents in diverse provinces of the country.
