RASC News Agency: On November 18th, local sources confirmed that three individuals had lost their lives, and two others had sustained injuries in traffic accidents in Nangarhar and Badghis provinces. In Nangarhar, two people died as a result of a collision between two motorcycles in the Bagh-e-Narenj area of Jalalabad city. The victims, Rahmat and Abdul Basit, were involved in the accident due to the negligence of both motorcyclists.
Similarly, in Badghis province, a traffic incident occurred in the Ghormach district, resulting in the death of one person and injuries to two others. The collision involved a Mazda truck and a high-speed Shib Khosti car. The primary causes of this incident have been identified as the drivers’ recklessness and carelessness.
Despite the recent increase in traffic accidents in certain provinces of the country, several factors contribute to these incidents. Additional fatalities and injuries were reported yesterday in Kapisa and Badakhshan provinces due to traffic accidents. Carelessness of drivers, poor road conditions, a lack of adherence to traffic rules, excessive speeding, and impassable roads all contribute to the occurrence of these incidents.
It is essential to note that the primary cause of most traffic accidents is the negligence of drivers and the absence of a well-regulated system on the country’s highways. The prolonged conflict between the Republican regime and the Taliban group has resulted in significant damage to various societal infrastructures.
