RASC News Agency: The distribution of monetary aid from the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to the households affected by natural disasters in Badghis province has commenced, led by local officials of the Taliban group. The aid, valued at 152 million Kabuli rupees, aims to provide relief to those impacted by the calamities in the region.
Yesterday, on November 6th, a newsletter was released by the press office of the Taliban governor in Badghis province. The newsletter reported that the International Organization for Migration is currently distributing monetary aid to 3,274 families who have been affected by the earthquake and flood in the province. Monetary assistance is being provided to these families as part of the aid distribution process.
The press office of the Taliban group has announced in their newsletter that the International Organization for Migration will be providing monetary assistance to households affected by financial and life losses. The assistance will be distributed in the form of 124,000, 41,000, and 24,000 Kabuli rupees (the current currency of Afghanistan).
The total amount of aid provided to the families affected by natural disasters in the districts of Qads, Jund, Dara-e-Boom, Muqor, and Bala Morghab in this province is reported to be 152,952,200 Kabuli rupees (the current currency of Afghanistan). Despite the significant loss of life and financial resources caused by various incidents, including severe earthquakes, the residents of Badghis province have not been included in this aid distribution. It is believed that these natural events have resulted in many families losing all their belongings.
Recent developments, including an increase in unemployment and poverty among households in Afghanistan under the control of the Taliban group, have prompted international aid organizations to announce the distribution of both monetary and non-monetary assistance to needy households in different provinces of the country.
The aim of these organizations is to alleviate the hardships faced by households and provide them with the necessary support during these challenging times.
