RASC News Agency: Local sources from Daikundi province have reported the tragic death of a woman in Kajran district. It has been revealed that the woman, identified as Razia and believed to be between 20 and 25 years old, succumbed to severe beatings inflicted by her husband in the village of Shah Joy. Following the incident, her body was transferred to the hospital in Kajran district for further investigation. The sources have not provided any additional details regarding the motive behind the husband’s violent actions. Furthermore, it remains unclear whether he managed to escape the scene or if he was apprehended by the Taliban group. The local officials of the Taliban in Daikundi province have yet to comment on the matter.

The incidents of family violence resulting in the loss of women’s lives have been on the rise in certain provinces of the country. These acts of violence are often attributed to factors such as unemployment, poverty, and mental illnesses. However, it is important to note that the situation has been exacerbated by the Taliban’s control over the country. The group’s strict restrictions on citizens’ lives, coupled with the increasing levels of unemployment, poverty, and low literacy rates, have contributed to the occurrence of such tragic incidents.

It is crucial to highlight that the oppressive measures imposed by the Taliban on Afghanistani women and girls have significantly impacted their social lives. These restrictions have posed numerous challenges for this group within today’s Afghanistan society. Women are now prohibited from working in both domestic and foreign institutions, while school gates have been closed to girls beyond the sixth grade. Furthermore, the doors to universities have also been shut for them. These limitations have further marginalized Afghanistani women and girls, hindering their access to education and economic opportunities.
