RASC News Agency: Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Sarfraz Bugti, announced on Wednesday that all refugees in the country (including 1.7 million Afghanistani citizens) have until November 1, 2022, to leave the country.
At a press conference held on Tuesday, October 3 in Islamabad, Bugti said that all immigrants in Pakistan have until November 1st to leave the country or face deportation.
He added: “Nearly 1.73 million Afghanistani citizens living in Pakistan have no legal documents for residence, and a total of 4.4 million Afghanistani immigrants live in Pakistan.”
The Minister of Interior of Pakistan stated: “There is no doubt about this that we are being attacked from inside Afghanistan, there is no dispute and Afghanistani citizens are involved in these attacks on us, and we have evidence in this regard.”
He added that Afghanistani citizens were involved in 14 out of 24 suicide attacks this year in Pakistan.
At the same time, the Afghanistan embassy in Pakistan, which operates under the control of the Taliban group, has previously announced the arrest of nearly 1,000 Afghanistani refugees by the Pakistani police.
Meanwhile, according to media reports, four Afghanistani citizens were also killed mysteriously in this country.
It should be mentioned that the detention of Afghanistani refugees in Pakistan has increased significantly recently.
A few days ago, Amnesty International said they were worried about the thousands of Afghanistani citizens living in Pakistan and said the international community is not doing enough to help them. Now these people are living in a bad situation and the Pakistani police are looking to find and arrest them.
