RASC News Agency: Kabul Book Publishing House in Toronto, Canada published the book An Introduction to Ferdowsi Studies and the Research of Shahnameh and the book “Zan Nama” Woman Letter by Yaqoob Yasna.
Farhang Publications in Kabul published the book An Introduction to Ferdowsi Studies and the Research of Shahnameh for the first time. The author revised the contents of the book after the first edition, and the Publishing House of “Wazha” in Kabul published the second edition of the book.
The second edition of the book was reviewed by Shahnameh scholars such as Professor Toghian Sakai, Professor of Ferdowsi Studies, Kabul University, Professor Mortaza Fallah, Professor of Yazd University, Iran, Professor Nemat Yildirim, Professor of Erzurum University, Turkey, Shahnamehologist and translator of the Shahnameh in Turkish, and these professors wrote reviews on the book.
Ravis Publishing House published the book An Introduction to Ferdowsi Studies and the Research of Shahnameh for the third time in Tehran and after being published three times in Kabul and Tehran, it was published for the fourth time in Toronto, Canada.
In this book, Yaqoob Yasna has discussed the researches about Shahnameh in Persian-speaking countries and the world, and he has presented findings and suggestions about Shahnameh studies and Ferdowsi studies, especially in Afghanistan.
This book was well received among Persian speakers and it is considered one of the important works about Ferdowsi and Shahnameh in Afghanistan.
Yaqoob Yasna’s “Zan Nama” Woman Letter book is a criticism of the patriarchal culture of Afghanistan society and is one of the first books written by an Afghanistani man in which men’s perceptions of women are criticized.
Maqsoodi Publishing House in Kabul published this book for the first time one month before the Taliban took over Afghanistan with the financial support of Zamzam Foundation.
It was thought that the book might not be noticed due to the dominance of the Taliban group, but since the idea and thought of the book was fresh and critical, it was liked by the readers. As well as, the readers in the social Medias shared the contents of the book, and the readers made several notes about the book and published in the media.
According to the interest that was found in reading the book, the Shahmame publishing house proposed to publish the book in Netherland and the book was published by this publishing house in Netherland.
Recently, the book “Zan Nama” Woman Letter book has been published for the third time by the publishing house of Kabul Book in Toronto, Canada.
