RASC: Sources from Khwaja Bughra area of the 15th security area of Kabul city say that most of the World Food Organization’s aid is taken by the members of the Taliban group who work in the same security area. The part of these humanitarian aid is distributed by the attorney with the support of the Taliban group to their relatives and not given to the main beneficiaries.

According to the sources, the members of the Taliban group threaten the street attorneys to give them the aid and when these street attorneys cooperated with the Taliban group in this corruption, the main beneficiary of the money goes to those who have benefited from the international food aid many times.

Ahmad Soroush, a resident of Kabul city, says that he has been living in a rented apartment for four years now, but despite the fact that street attorney knows about his life situation and has visited him several times; his name has never been included in the list. When he raised his voice and demanded justice, members of the Taliban group supported street attorneys and threatened to arrest him.

He went on to say: “The truth is that the main need to receive aid has been forgotten, and the Taliban have disrupted the legal distribution process and are illegally obtaining aid from the street attorneys; there is no place to complain.”

It should be remembered that last year, there were various complaints about the Taliban group’s delay in receiving aid in the center and provinces, and these complaints are still ongoing.
