RASC News Agency: The “Coalition of Afghanistani Women’s Protest Movements” protested the arrest of Neda Parwani, a member of the “Spontaneous Afghanistan Women’s Protest Movement” in Kabul, and asked the United Nations and human rights organizations to release her from the Taliban prison.
The coalition of protesting women’s movements of Afghanistan published a resolution on Monday, September 25, saying that there has been no news of Neda Parwani for several days.
This coalition has asked the United Nations, human rights organizations and other institutions to save Neda Parwani from “the clutches of the injustices of the fascist Taliban group”.
The coalition of protesting women’s movements of Afghanistan has criticized the “painful silence” of international organizations against the arrest of this civil activist.
Meanwhile, the sources informed the media on Tuesday September 19 that Neda Parwani, a member of the “Spontaneous Movement of Women Protesters of Afghanistan” was arrested by the Taliban group in the Khairkhana area of Kabul city and was transferred to an unknown place.
According to sources, the Taliban group has also arrested the wife and son of this protesting woman who is four years old.
Since the formation of women’s protests in the country, the Taliban group has arrested and tortured several protesting women.
Sources say that the reason behind the arrest of protesting women by the Taliban group is blackmail by this group, and they say that the Taliban group takes “money” from human rights institutions in exchange for the release of protesting women.
After taking over Afghanistan, the Taliban group imposed extensive restrictions on Afghanistani women and girls and excluded them from social life; women and girls protested against these bans and restrictive orders in various ways and made their voices heard by the world. These protesters want to cancel the restrictions of the Taliban group to recognize the actions of the Taliban group as “gender apartheid” by the world.
