RASC News Agency: Reports have emerged regarding the attendance of Ahmad Massoud, the leader of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan, at the sixth annual meeting of the Paris-France Peace Forum, where he also had a meeting with the President of France, Emmanuel Macron. The meeting, which commenced on November 10th in the French capital, is set to continue until Saturday afternoon. Notable figures, such as the President of France, the President of the European Council, and several heads of governments from Europe, Asia, and Africa, are in attendance. According to available information, numerous politicians and representatives from international organizations have taken part in this two-day gathering, engaging in discussions and exchanging viewpoints on finding collective and effective solutions to address the challenges of the 21st century.
The participants are expected to deliberate on long-standing issues such as peacebuilding, poverty alleviation, global warming, food security, global health, the impact of artificial intelligence, and the consequences of climate change.
The sixth edition of this forum has brought together key stakeholders in the field of productive artificial intelligence to explore the advantages and risks associated with this emerging technology. Ahmad Massoud, as the leader of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan, has consistently emphasized the importance of both political efforts and military struggle in liberating Afghanistan from the Taliban’s rule.
Over the past two years, he has actively participated in meetings held in Austria, Paris, Moscow, and Dushanbe. While advocating for continued armed resistance, he has also expressed his willingness to engage in negotiations with the Taliban group to seek a resolution to the crisis in Afghanistan through dialogue.
Despite Ahmad Massoud’s belief that the Taliban group is not inclined towards negotiation and dialogue, instead seeking the surrender of their opponents, he maintains that the National Resistance Front operates on the basis of two options: military and political. The organization remains committed to pursuing its objectives through both means, with the ultimate goal of achieving a peaceful and stable Afghanistan.
