RASC News Agency: Local sources in Takhar province in the northeast of the country confirm that the Taliban group has identified a student from this province and arrested him on charges of being a member of the National Resistance Front.
Based on information from sources; this student’s name is Mehrullah Rohani, and he is a resident of Farkhar district, Takhar province, who was arrested on charges of being a member of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan.
The news source pointed out that this young man is a master’s student in one of Iran’s universities and had recently returned to the country.
This source told the media today (Monday, September 11) that he was arrested in front of his house in Takhar province by the Taliban group and transferred to an unknown place.
Based on the published information, this student was beaten by the Taliban forces when he was caught and they took him away in a military car in a terrible way.
The Taliban group has not yet commented on this incident.
It should be noted that in the past few weeks, the targeted attacks of the Afghanistan National Resistance Front on the Taliban group have increased in parts of Takhar province.
It is said that the Taliban group has started arresting people on the charge of being a member of the Afghanistan National Resistance Front in Takhar province, and last week, nearly 30 residents of this province were arrested by this group.
It should be mentioned that Takhar in the northeast of the country is one of the provinces that have been the base of Taliban opposition forces in different periods and they have planned plans to suppress the Taliban from this province.
