 RASC: The head of the Taliban group in Ghazni province arrested a groom with 20 guests on his wedding night in this province.

On Monday, July 17, local sources say that the agents of the Department of Amr Bil Maruf of the Taliban group in Ghazni province arrested these people last night from Nowabad area in the center of this province for playing music at a wedding party.

Sources have added that the people arrested were released today from prison after that by the administration of the Taliban group, and these people paid a fine of 20,000 Kabuli/Afghani rupees.

Sources emphasize that last week in a similar action; this department arrested 10 people from a wedding party in Nowabad area and released them again after paying a fine.

According to information from local sources, the Department of Amr Bil Maruf has turned this work into a source of income for itself.

It should be mentioned that the administration of the Taliban group in Ghazni province, by imposing strict restrictions, has warned all the residents of this province that they do not have the right to play music during the wedding ceremony.

With the emergence of the Taliban group in Afghanistan, this group has imposed many restrictions on the social life of the country’s citizens.
