RASC News Agency: Khalid Amiri, a senior commander of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan under Ahmad Massoud’s leadership, reaffirmed his dedication to continue fighting against the Taliban in a message marking Eid al-Adha. Commander Khalid Amiri described the Taliban as adversaries of freedom, humanity, and violators of the rights of the Afghanistani people, underscoring his resolve to combat them.
He shared his message on Facebook along with a photo of himself and Central Forces Commander Hasib, taken in the Hindu Kush mountains, extending Eid greetings: “As we approach Eid al-Adha, those who deny our people their fundamental rights have also robbed them of the chance to celebrate Eid joyously. While praying for our compatriots’ prayers and devotions to be accepted, we pledge once more to strive with divine assistance and popular support to realize their legitimate and humane aspirations. We will persist in our struggle to dispel the oppressive shadow of Taliban rule and to establish justice and freedom, even at the risk of our lives. Eid Mubarak!”

Commander Khalid Amiri holds a prominent position within the National Resistance Front under Ahmad Massoud. After the fall of Kabul to the Taliban, he relocated to Panjshir and actively engaged in combat against them.
Commander Amiri serves as a military leader of the National Resistance Front, fighting against the Taliban in the Hindu Kush mountains for over two years. Previously a key commander in the Afghanistan government, he chose not to surrender despite the Taliban’s resurgence, joining others who did not flee but instead began anew in Panjshir.
Commander Hasib, who jointly posted a photo with him from the Hindu Kush mountains, also holds a senior position within the National Resistance Front. He is recognized as a tenacious and agile warrior who battled against the regime and fought against discrimination in the Republic.
