RASC: Meteorology Directorate under the administration of the Taliban group says that there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and floods in 17 provinces of the country.

On Thursday, July 6, the Directorate of Meteorology under the administration of the Taliban announced in a newsletter that on the July 6 and 7, the provinces of Kabul, Parwan, Kapisa, Panjshir, Badakhshan, Nuristan, Kunar, Laghman, Nangarhar, Logar, Paktia , Khost, Paktika, Ghazni, Zabul, Bamyan and Maidan Wardak will probably witness heavy rains with thunder and floods.

The department says that the amount of rainfall is expected to be between 15 and 40 mm in different places.

On the other hand, the Department of Meteorology has said that in the northwestern, western and southwestern provinces of the country, relatively strong winds with dust will probably occur.

According to this newsletter, the speed of these winds will be between 20 and 70 kilometers per hour.

This is despite the fact that earlier Shafiullah Rahimi, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Government for Incidents under the administration of the Taliban group, said that in the past three months, 151 people have died and 225 others have been injured as a result of various natural events in the country. .

According to him, as a result of these events, 2,162 houses were completely and partially destroyed.

This is despite the fact that a number of victims of these incidents had complained about the lack of attention and help to them a while ago.

This is despite the fact that natural events such as floods cause human and financial losses to the people of the country every year.
