RASC: At the same time as Eid al-Adha is approaching, the officials of the Taliban group in Herat province say that Congo hemorrhagic fever has killed five people in this province.

The Bakhtar media under the control of the Taliban group quoted the sources of Herat Public Health Department on Wednesday, June 28 said that Congo disease has increased in Herat.

Dr. Asif Kabir, Deputy Public Health of Herat, said that in the last two months, he witnessed 36 positive cases of Congo fever in this province, of which five people died.

These officials have expressed concern about slaughtering animals in homes due to the increase in Congo fever.

On the other hand, the public health officials of Herat province reported on the measures to prevent the further spread of Congo in this province and asked people to consider the cases of preventing the entry of animals inside the city, observing hygiene and informing the people.
