The Taliban are Displacing Pakistani Pashtuns in the North

Published 05/06/2023

Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid says that for Pakistan’s security, the Islamic Emirate sends Pakistani immigrants who have moved to the border areas of Afghanistan, such as Khost, to distant provinces. However, a number of political analysts consider this plan by the Taliban to be a new conspiracy by this group to relocate Pakistani Pashtuns in the Northern provinces to suppress non-Pashtun peoples.

This is despite the fact that the Taliban had moved Pakistanis and displaced the local people in Faryab, Takhar and Badakhshan provinces not long ago.
