Dozens of Houses and Lands Destroy Due to Flood in Logar Province

RASC: Following the floods in Logar province, 60 residential houses, hundreds of acres of agricultural land and several tents of Kochi have been destroyed.

The flood in Logar on Monday afternoon, May 29, following the heavy rain and hail.

Mawlawi Abdullah Mufakir, the head of fighting against natural events of the Taliban group in Logar, says that residential houses and agricultural lands in the villages of Alozi, Haji Golon, Babus, Zard Gol, Juma and Shadi Khok from the parts of the district of Pul Alam, the center of Logar, sunk under water.

Emergency aid has been distributed to the victims of this area, but the exact statistics of agricultural lands destroyed due to floods in Logar are not yet known.

Hail and rain caused damage in Logar while farmers are collecting their crops.

Previously, the Meteorological Department of the Taliban Group had announced a few days ago that there would be hail and rain, lightning and flash floods in nearly 20 provinces of the country in the coming days.
