Dozens of cases of killing, torturing and raping people by Taliban fighters have been reported so far.
The latest report from this year’s Eid al-Fitr was in Khairkhane of Kabul, when a Taliban soldier killed two Tajik members of the same family in front of their family members. The neighbors of this Tajik family were Pashtuns and they quarreled with each other. His Pashtun neighbor went to the field and brought a Taliban fighter and the Taliban fighter shot and killed the son of the Tajik family. The boy’s father protested, he also killed his father, and the Taliban had warned this family that this news would not be reported in the media, but this event was reported in the media. The name of this father and son was Seyyed Mustafa Sadat Hofiani and Seyyed Hamed Sadat Hofyani. Taliban who carry out such killings in public, imagine what is going on in Taliban prisons.
Rooz Information recently published a report on its YouTube channel and said that it was able to talk to six prisoners who spent some time in Taliban prison. The names of the people in this report are pseudonymous and these people were imprisoned in Balkh prison.
A woman with the pseudonym Najla said that she was raped five times in prison and each time she was raped by two to three Taliban fighters.
Zahra said that three to four women were brought to Balkh prison on charges of civil activities and participation in demonstrations. At eight o’clock in the night, they would make up and take them to an unknown place, and they would return early in the morning, and during the night, they would be gang-raped.
Asadullah has been imprisoned on charges of hiding weapons. He said that in addition to other tortures, the Taliban tied a heavy weight to his penis and sometimes hung him from his feet.
Sajjad was imprisoned for being a member of the security organization of the previous government and collaborating with the resistance front. Sajjad said that in addition to other tortures, they strangled me and sometimes they inserted a water pipe with high pressure into my throat, my stomach filled with water and I passed out.
These cases are a small part of the rape and torture of the Taliban in prisons, and they carry out dozens of examples of torture and other things that have not been reported or seen. Taliban have hatred and anger and enjoy rape, torture and violence.
