RASC News Agency: “National Resistance Council for the Salvation of Afghanistan” says that the Taliban group has signed the contract for the mining of the country’s mines illegally and against the principles in order to gain the satisfaction of the countries of the region and the world and for the purpose of “looting” the public property.
“National Council of Resistance for the Salvation of Afghanistan” published a statement on Saturday, September 2, stating that decision-making about national capital and assets is one of the “powers of the legitimate system and appeals to the will of the people”.
In the declaration of this council, it is stated: “Taliban group has signed the mining contract in order to gain the satisfaction of the countries of the region and the world and for the purpose of plundering the public property and national capital in illegal actions and against the principles. There is no doubt that in the future, Afghanistan will have a legal system based on will. People, all those contracts will be canceled and prosecuted.
The “National Resistance Council for the Salvation of Afghanistan” has also warned the companies contracted with the Taliban group that any agreement with this group is invalid and with the change in the status of these contracts, it will not only have no legal validity; it also involves legal prosecution.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, under the administration of the Taliban group, signed a contract for the extraction of seven mines in the country with several companies worth 6.5 billion US dollars on Thursday last week.
Since taking control of Afghanistan, the Taliban group has focused on mining the country’s mines in an unprecedented way.
The Taliban group has always been accused of illegal mining.
At the same time, legal experts also consider mining contracts from the Taliban group to be illegal and accompanied by legal problems; these experts say that if the company violates the contract, they can handle the case neither inside the country nor in another country.
