According to local sources in Takhar, this doctor’s name was Zakra and she was killed by Taliban gunmen in Chinzai village (one of the Pashtun villages, transitional Pashtuns) on Thursday evening while she was moving from Kunduz to Takhar.
This female doctor worked in the delivery department of Takhar Hospital in “Chal” city.
One day after this incident, no person or group has been arrested by the local government.
