RASC News Agency: Local sources from Faryab province report that amidst ongoing insecurity, the body of a 19-year-old man was recently discovered in a field in Andkhoy district. On Sunday, July 21, sources informed the media that the body of the young man, identified as “Habibullah,” was found the previous evening in the “Elhindi Khana” field in Andkhoy district, Faryab province.

According to sources, Habibullah went missing the previous morning, and Taliban forces discovered his body that evening. Based on information from sources, the young man was strangled to death with a cloth. The discovery of Habibullah’s body has been confirmed by local Taliban officials in Faryab, who stated that investigations into his murder have begun.

Since the Taliban’s takeover, the rate of criminal activity, particularly mysterious and targeted killings, armed robberies, and kidnappings, has significantly increased in various provinces. Reports also indicate that in many instances, members of the Taliban are responsible for these mysterious and targeted killings, committing murders under various pretexts without facing any accountability.

In the latest incident, Taliban members shot and killed a child in Nangarhar province for collecting firewood.
