RASC News Agency: According to reports from Pakistani media, the country has expelled 11,006 Afghanistani refugees during the past 10 days. Pakistan Today reported on Sunday night, May 12th, that this number of refugees has been expelled from the country by the Pakistani government from the 30th of April until the 21st of the current solar month.
The report indicates that these refugees consist of 487 families, comprising 4,987 men, 3,214 women, and 2,805 children. Information suggests that since the start of forced expulsion of Afghanistani refugees from Pakistan until now, 567,554 Afghanistani refugees have been expelled or voluntarily returned to Afghanistan.
The second phase of the expulsion of Afghanistani refugees from Pakistan began on the April 15, of the current year. It is possible that in this phase, close to 400,000 Afghanistani refugees will be expelled from Pakistan. The continuation of the forced expulsion of Afghanistani refugees by the Pakistani government has raised concerns among international organizations and the Taliban.
Several global organizations warned recently that the expulsion of refugees from Iran and Pakistan will worsen the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan under the rule of the Taliban. The Pakistani government announced a few days ago that the residency period for Afghanistani refugees holding temporary cards has been extended for nearly two more months.
