RASC News Agency: Local sources have informed the media that a young man in the city of Taluqan, the capital of Takhar Province, was shot and killed by unidentified armed individuals.

According to local sources, on Sunday, March 24th, a young man named Ayazuddin, a prominent resident of Chahab District in Takhar Province, was fatally shot last night near the Seyyed Abdul Rahman School in Taluqan.

Ayazuddin’s acquaintances have conveyed to the media that he harbored no personal animosity towards anyone and was leading a normal life. The motive behind the killing of this young man remains unclear.

Local Taliban officials in Takhar Province have yet to provide any comments on the matter. However, acquaintances of Ayazuddin allege that Taliban intelligence in Takhar Province had exerted pressure on him due to his uncle’s past involvement in the security forces during the previous regime.

It is noteworthy that mysterious killings have been on the rise in several provinces of the country in recent days.
