RASC News Agency: In the wake of a series of traffic incidents across different provinces of the country, a recent traffic accident occurred in Nangarhar Province, resulting in three fatalities and two injuries. Abdul Basir Zabuli, the spokesperson for the Taliban’s security command in Nangarhar, briefed the media that this incident occurred yesterday, Feb 24, on the Jalalabad-Torkham highway, within the jurisdiction of the Mohmanddara district.

Mr. Zabuli further elaborated that the accident transpired when a Corolla car collided with a cargo vehicle, leading to the demise of two children and one woman, while both drivers sustained injuries. According to details shared by Mr. Zabuli, the traffic accident stemmed from the drivers’ recklessness.

This occurrence unfolds against a backdrop of road degradation, driver negligence, excessive speeding, and insufficient traffic signage on specific routes, all contributing to traffic mishaps across diverse provinces of the nation.
