RASC News Agency: Local sources from Ghazni province have reported the death of a man in Ajristan district due to severe cold and heavy snowfall. Sources stated on Wednesday, Feb 7, that the incident occurred unexpectedly yesterday in the Kotal Khun area of Ajristan district.

According to sources, the man, along with two others, intended to travel from one village to another to buy livestock but became stranded in the snow along the way. Consequently, one of them lost his life while the other two were rescued. Local Taliban authorities in Ghazni province have not officially commented on the matter yet.

It is worth mentioning that heavy snowfall during the current week in Ghazni province and several other provinces has led to the closure of transportation routes in several districts to the central city, some of which have not yet reopened. Furthermore, due to heavy snowfall and snowdrifts, a young man lost his life in Daykundi province.
